Beloved, I am glad to share with you today on the next window of the temple of truth, namely the primacy of the kingdom. The Lord Jesus invites us to first seek the kingdom of God in Matt 6.33: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

In other words, he wants this to be above all our concern, that is to say the goal of our efforts; and when we have found that great wealth which is the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then our heavenly Father, who sees that we need all these other things, will give them over. And we know that whoever gives such great things will certainly add small ones.

He then puts justice before the eyes of the disciples as the goal to be attained. This is why the developments of the Lord’s work and his revelations will show them how to do it. For the Lord God is the only King of the whole universe (Psa 93, 96, 97 and 99) and this kingship was manifested within the time of the Lord Jesus Christ who called to enter it (Mat 12.28; Luke 17.21 ; Mat 7.21). And this kingdom of God is also a reality to come (Obadiah 21; Daniel 2.43-44, Mark 9.1; Luke 22.30; 1 Cor 6.9; 1 Cor 15.50).

Finally, all these things, it’s the pagans who seek them. The Heavenly Father knows you need it. Seek first the kingdom and righteousness of God; and all these things will be given to you above. Do not worry about the next day; for the next day will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its. The various verses compiled below will teach you about the primacy of the kingdom of God and the need to enter it.

I. Blessings promised

Luke 18.29-30  “Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30 will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life.”

II. Divine primacy over all human possessions :

When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”

2 Peter 1.11 “and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

III. The duty to seek God

Luke 11.10 ” For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Deut 4:29 “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

1 Kings 3: 11-13 ” So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, 12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings.”

1 Kings 17.13 “Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son.”

Luke 12.31 “But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.”

John 6.27 ” Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval. “

IV. God’s closeness and support :

Matt 19:29 “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. “

Psa 84.11 “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”

Mark 10.30 ” will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”

Rom 8.31  “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

1 Cor 3.22 “whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours,”

1 Tim 4.8 “because bodily exercise is of little use, while piety is useful for everything, having the promise of the present life and of the future.”

V. Solicitude for the world is forbidden:

Psa 127.2 ” In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.”

Matt 6.25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”

Luke 10.41  “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,”

Luke 12.28 ” If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!”;

Luke 21.34 ” “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.” .

1 Cor 7:32 ” I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.”;

Php 4.6 ” Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. “

1 Peter 5.6-7 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

From all of the above, we note that the Lord Jesus wants the kingdom of God to be above all our concern, that is, the goal of our efforts ; and when we have found this great wealth which is the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then our Heavenly Father, who sees that we need all these other things, will give them to us above. Furthermore, your yoke is easy to carry and your burden is light because all that is born of God triumphs over the world. And when you go through the waters of baptism, the Spirit of God dwells in you and makes you stronger than the spirit of the world. This is why he who puts his trust in God can keep his heart at peace since he knows that the Eternal God provides for his true needs, all the more since he also has the power to add the least important, and thereafter, eternal life. Our prayers are with you all in your efforts to do so, by the grace of the Almighty God.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.

I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.

I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

To you all worship, power, and glory, now and forever and ever. Amen!

I would be glad to respond to your queries and comments as necessary, before sharing with you next week on the next window of the temple of truth, namely charity.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you profusely.

David Feze, Servant of the Lord Almighty.
