Beloved, I am glad to share with you today the next window of the temple of truth, namely the dispensation of the truth. Since the beginning of the teachings of the sermon on the mountain, we have received more light, that is to say the truth becomes more and more important: because it’s at the heart of the reform introduced by the Lord Jesus Christ . Indeed, there is no truth without holiness, and what is holy, where the holy things are the truths of the Word of God.

And as the Gospel produces experiences on the soul of the believer, these truths are compared to precious pearls that should not be presented to corrupt men whom the Lord likens to unclean animals, for they could only profane them. This is why it is written in Matt 10: 14-15: ” If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. 15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.”

Indeed, to trample them on the feet can only arouse on the disciples and the believers, their hatred and their violent persecutions on the part of the scribes and the Pharisees. This is why it is written in Matt 7.6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”

  • First, about ‘pork’ : according to the Law, it is an unclean animal and unfit for consumption : 

Deut 14.8 ” The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.”

Pigs and dogs represent the ‘wicked’ and the ‘scoffers’: Lev 11.7 ” And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you.”

Pro 11.22 ” Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion.”

Esa 65.4 ” who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;”

Isa 66.17 “Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens, among whom they go one by one, who eat pork meat, abominable things, and mice, all these shall perish, saith the LORD.” ;

Mat 7.6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”

Matt 8.30 ” Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding.” Luke 15:15 “So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs.”

2 Peter 2.22 ” Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”

  • dogs, in the pejorative sense : they are wanderers most of the time, as we understand it in the two following passages: 

Psa 22.1, 21 ” My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? 21  Rescue me from the mouth of the lions; save me from the horns of the wild oxen.”

Psa 59.7 “They come back every night, they scream like dogs, They go around the city.” 

2 Kings 9.10, 36 “As for Jezebel, dogs will devour her on the plot of ground at Jezreel, and no one will bury her.’ ” Then he opened the door and ran. 36  They went back and told Jehu, who said, “This is the word of the LORD that he spoke through his servant Elijah the Tishbite: On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs will devour Jezebel’s flesh.”

Psa 68.24 ” that your feet may wade in the blood of your foes, while the tongues of your dogs have their share.”

Jer 15.3 “I will send four kinds of destroyers against them,” declares the LORD, “the sword to kill and the dogs to drag away and the birds and the wild animals to devour and destroy.”

The dogs were the symbol of the despicable animal, and the impure meat was thrown at him: Exo 22.31 ” “You are to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of an animal torn by wild beasts; throw it to the dogs.”

Matt 15.26 ” He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” Matt 7.6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”

Acts 13.45 ” When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying and heaped abuse on him.”

2 Cor 11.26 ” I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers.”

Php 3.2 “Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh.”; Rev 22.15 ” Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Outside dogs, enchanters, lepers, murderers, idolaters, and whoever loves and practices lies!”

  • contempt :

Rom. 2.4 “Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?”

2 Tim 3.3 ” without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,”

Heb 10.28 ” Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.”

Act 13.41 ” ‘Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’ ”

Heb 10.29 ” How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?”

Pro 1.30 “Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke,”; Pro 9.8 “Give to the wise man, and he will become wiser; Instruct the righteous, and he will increase his knowledge. “

2 Peter 2.10 ” This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings;”   

  • An insensitivity that is worrying :

Psa 92.7 ” that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.”

Jer 10.8 ” They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols.”

Jer 51:17 ” “Everyone is senseless and without knowledge; every goldsmith is shamed by his idols. The images he makes are a fraud; they have no breath in them.”

Matt 13:15 ” For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.”

Titus 1.12 ” One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” 

2 Peter 2.12 ” But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.”; Jude 10 ” Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.”

  • pearls in front of pigs : pearls represent what disciples learn from the Lord Jesus. And what they learn is the gospel.

Pro 9.7 “Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.”

Pro 16.22 ” Prudence is a fountain of life to the prudent, but folly brings punishment to fools.” Pro 23.9 “Do not speak in the ears of the foolish, For he despises the wisdom of your words.” Pro 26.4 ” Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.”

Matt 7.6  “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”

From the foregoing we note that the truths of the gospel are compared to precious pearls that should not be presented to corrupt people whom the Lord likens to unclean animals, because the latter could only profane them, but only to souls that are in need, since healthy people do not need a doctor. For there is no truth without holiness and that what is holy, or holy things are the truths from the Word of God. Let’s seek to live in the light of the Savior, in love, justice and the fear of the Eternal God. We pray the Lord for all your efforts in this direction.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS ​​CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.

I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.

I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
