Beloved, I am glad to share with you today on dishes prepared in abundance for believers. If He who affirms in his word that even King Solomon was not as well clothed as lilies, while this herb is intended for fire, then it is natural that we should expect him to prepare us for spiritual foods in abundance.
This is why He puts his wisdom at our disposal, for our direct use: Indeed, the Bible says in Proverbs 9: 1-6: “1 Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars. 2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table. 3 She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city, 4 “Let all who are simple come to my house!” To those who have no sense she says, 5 “Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. 6 Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight.”
For the Lord brings out the benefits of Wisdom to those who listen to him. This House of Wisdom has royal dimensions as worthy as that of a temple or a palace of kings, where sumptuous delicacies are served, for the guests are persons who have obeyed and feared the Almighty God. There are dishes full of marrow and sprinkled with old wines and duly clarified. These meats and this wine represent the spiritual food that Wisdom provides to its followers.
She strengthens and cheers them in their hearts. It should be noted that the maidservants are those who have allowed themselves to be won by the truth and who have put themselves at his service; the stupid ones are those who are still without a position taken in relation to what is good or what is evil and still accessible to any influence, but who will have to be determined in the sense of goodness and to win them over to their cause, those who have not yet received the advice of Wisdom, but are able to make their profit.
That is why Wisdom asks young people without experience to come and learn from her all the experience necessary for life, and to feed themselves with abundant delicious foods for free.
Moreover, this vast house of the king represents the glorious salvation prepared for all from before the centuries by the divine wisdom; and the number of columns shows that the the divine wisdom action on the heart of man is fully sufficient and meets all his needs, for this is also the number of the seven Spirits that are before the throne of God and that communicate peace and thanks to churches.
Thus, the Lord God wants all who fear him to be his guests at the feast he prepares, as written in Isaiah 25.6 “The Lord of hosts prepares for all people on this mountain a feast of luscious foods, A feast of old wines, succulent dishes, full of marrow, old wines, clarified. “
An illustration of his concern to save is evident in Matthew 22.4: “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet’”. The great preparations that the king has proclaimed by his servants could have been a powerful motive for coming, and will render their contempt and ingratitude far more guilty. They all end up being replaced, because the master’s house is later filled by all those whom the servant has brought from the streets and along the hedges. One certainty is that those who were initially invited and who have all apologized for the worries of the world, have missed an opportunity to reject evil, and will not taste the feast of the king.
Jesus Christ our Savior is the bread from heaven and he showed it during the Holy Supper in Mark 14:22: ” While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.” The breaking of bread indicated that the Savior’s body was to be broken for the redemption of our sins, the body of the Church of which he is the head and the organizer of the wedding feast for all the elect.
Therefore, in his infinite goodness, he wants to welcome everyone. This will is contained in the parable of the guests mentioned in Luke 14:16: ” Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.”
Finally, the Lord invites us to acquire wisdom in order to be elected and welcomed at the feast of marriage mentioned in Revelation 19.9 ” Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” It is truly the union of the Church with Christ her husband, the joy of each member and the personal communion with Him who is for them the bread of life. What a joy to be able to live that moment!

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.
