Beloved, I am glad to share with you today on the theme “Satan as the main agent of temptation”. He is the liar from the beginning.
Indeed, he governs a kingdom opposed to God, he afflicts people with diseases, he tries to divert Christians from true worship, he opposes the spreading of the Gospel, he misleads the world, he wants the world to worship him, he disguises himself as an angel of light, he uses several stratagems, he persecutes the Church, he holds the power of death, Christians can play the game of Satan, he will give power to the antiChrist, he will be definitively defeated and chastised, Christians must fight against him; Christ disarmed him.
- He uses cunning to lie:
Genesis 3.1 ” Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
- He pushes man to do what does not please God
1 Chronicles 21.1 ” Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.”
- He wants to put Jesus to test
Matthew 4.3 ” The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
- He wants to take the lead over men
2 Corinthians 2:11 ” in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.”
- He wants to divert our thoughts
2 Corinthians 11. 3 ” But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.”
- He uses several stratagems
1 Thessalonians 3.5 ” For this reason, when I could stand it no longer, I sent to find out about your faith. I was afraid that in some way the tempter had tempted you and that our labors might have been in vain.”
- He uses the money to trap
1 Timothy 6: 9 ” Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.”
- He makes believe that God is tempting
James 1.13 ” When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;”
- He wants to keep control by carnal lusts
2 Peter 2:18 ” For their mouth empty boastful words, and by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.”

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR
I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :
Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.
I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.
I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
To you all adoration, power, and glory, now and forever and ever. Amen!
