Beloved, I am glad to share with you today, the two following strophes of Psalms 119 pertaining to spiritual profits that could be made even in worse periods, and also to spiritual contagion.
In fact, the humiliating test brings the Christian back to the right path, and the latter appreciates it forasmuch the Almighty’s good and rectitude come for his/her advantage. The Law therefore appears more important than all treasures. Moreover, no one is supposed to look for tests, for they induce salvation effects and assist in self questioning and re-orienting Christians’ life.
So, after being humiliated and struck by the test, Christians expect from the Word of God, consolation and express the wish that their experience be useful to others within the community. Let’s hope that spiritual knowledge acquired become an opportunity of joy and learning for the righteous. It’s really an inexhaustible treasure from where we could draw daily.
Finally, the worry of progress within the community leads to the creation of exchanges space and sharing of daily life experience, around the Word of God: this means spiritual contagion, much needed for our growth.

Psalms 119:65 You have done good to your servant, O Lord, in keeping with your word.
66 Give me knowledge and good sense; for I have put my faith in your teachings.
67 Before I was in trouble I went out of the way; but now I keep your word.
68 You are good, and your works are good; give me knowledge of your rules.
69 The men of pride have said false things about me; but I will keep your orders in my heart.
70 Their hearts are shut up with fat; but my delight is in your law.
71 It is good for me to have been through trouble; so that I might come to the knowledge of your rules.
72 The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

75 I have seen, O Lord, that your decisions are right, and that in unchanging faith you have sent trouble on me.

77 Let your gentle mercies come to me, so that I may have life; for your law is my delight.
78 Let the men of pride be shamed; because they have falsely given decision against me; but I will give thought to your orders.
79 Let your worshippers be turned to me, and those who have knowledge of your words.
80 Let all my heart be given to your orders, so that I may not be put to shame.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.
I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.
I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
