Beloved, I am glad to share with you today, the last section resulting from the first pronouncement our Lord Jesus Christ when he told John the Baptist to let both of them make righteousness complete, as per Matthew 3:15.

A number of verses witness the perfection of Christ: let’s read first in John 1: 14 : And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory–such glory as is given to an only son by his father–saw it to be true and full of grace.

In fact, Jesus’ particularity appears in the manner that Apostle John begins his gospel: he lifts us like on eagle’s wing far back to the origin of time in order to capture the Saviour in his eternal pre-existence, before showing him to us as the Word made flesh in verse 14. A being through whom everything has been made could not have been bearing imperfection, but only absolute purity in all means.

That’s why this Word which was Jesus, gave to all those who did so take him, however, the right of becoming children of God–that is, to those who had faith in his name: Whose birth was from God and not from blood, or from an impulse of the flesh and man’s desire. His perfection carried us into the new covenant. Moreover, the Word was there when everything was created, therefore preceding the time, on the ground that his was perfect. Jesus is therefore the expression of God’s will and mightiness.

Furthermore, it is written in Psalms 33:6 that: By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the army of heaven by the breath of his mouth. The same word is sent to those who are in anxiety to heal them, as written in Psalms 107: 20 that: He sent his word and made them well, and kept them safe from the underworld. The word is also sent out to the earth and it goes out fast, as written in Psalms 147:15 that: He sends out his orders to the earth; his word goes out quickly. Its word does all what his will orders through his mouth, as written in Isaiah 55:11 as follows: So will my word be which goes out of my mouth: it will not come back to me with nothing done, but it will give effect to my purpose, and do that for which I have sent it. This Word has become flesh; yet, we could see throughout the New Testament, that Jesus has done nothing wrong. His flesh was only accessible to test but he never failed. And in John 19:4 we read: And Pilate went out again and said to them, See, I let him come out to you to make it clear to you that I see no wrong in him.

That’s why it is written about Christ in Psalms 22:29 that: All the fat ones of the earth will give him worship; all those who go down to the dust will make themselves low before him, even he who has not enough for the life of his soul. And again in Psalms 8:6 that: You have made him ruler over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet. And then making an oath about  him in Psalms 110:4 as follows: The Lord has made an oath, and will not take it back. You are a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.

You better understand now Apostle John when he said in 1 John 2:1 that: My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may be without sin. And if any man is a sinner, we have a friend and helper with the Father, Jesus Christ, the upright one.

And even the bandits who were crucified along with him recognized that he did nothing wrong, as written in Luke 23: 41: And with reason; for we have the right reward of our acts, but this man has done nothing wrong.

Christ is without sin and Apostle Peter wrote it in 1 Peter 1:19: But through holy blood, like that of a clean and unmarked lamb, even the blood of Christ. And also in 1 Peter 2:22 we read: Who did no evil, and there was no deceit in his mouth.

Therefore, Christ is able to assist all those who believe in him and who are put to test; and having been put himself to test, he never failed because he has always loved justice, as written in Psalms 45:7: You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil: and so God, your God, has put the oil of joy on your head, lifting you high over all other kings.

So, Jesus Christ appears as Certain and True in Revelation 19: 11 where it written that: And the heaven was open; and I saw a white horse, and he who was seated on it was named Certain and True; and he is judging and making war in righteousness.

Moreover, if we say we are joined to him, and are walking still in the dark, our words are false and our acts are untrue. But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, we are all united with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us clean from all sin.

For this cause make yourselves low under the strong hand of God, so that when the time comes you may be lifted up; putting all your troubles on him, for he takes care of you. Be serious and keep watch; the Evil One, who is against you, goes about like a lion with open mouth in search of food; do not give way to him but be strong in your faith, in the knowledge that your brothers who are in the world undergo the same troubles.

For loving God is keeping his laws: and his laws are not hard. Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith. Who is able to overcome the world but the man who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God?

Therefore, it is convenient to live without sin, and in so doing, we remain always winners against all tests, like our Lord Jesus Christ. Our parayers are with you all in this regard.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.

I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.

I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

To you all adoration, power, and glory, now and forever and ever. Amen!

I would be glad to revert on your queries and comments as necessary, before sharing next week on the second pronouncement of our Lord Jesus Christ, when the devil came to test him.

May the Almighty God bless you in abundance.

David Feze, Servant of the Almighty God.
