Beloved, I am glad to share with you today the second section that resulted from the first sentence our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew, when he told John the Baptist to let them make upright and pertaining to Jesus’ righteousness to guide our daily life.

As a matter of fact, this is about living our daily life without sinning, like he did himself throughout his earthly life. This life full of justice and faith was announced by Prophet Isaiah 11:5: And righteousness will be the cord of his robe, and good faith the band round his breast. Moreover, the prophet added in chapter 42 verse 6 that: I the Lord have made you the vessel of my purpose, I have taken you by the hand, and kept you safe, and I have given you to be an agreement to the people, and a light to the nations.

On the same topic, Prophet Jeremiah, predicted in Jeremiah 23 verse 5 that: See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will give to David a true Branch, and he will be ruling as king, acting wisely, doing what is right, and judging uprightly in the land. Jesus came to bring righteousness, as stated in John 1:14: And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory–such glory as is given to an only son by his father–saw it to be true and full of grace. His life was so full of truth that it has been recognized by Pilate when he claimed in John 19:4 : And Pilate went out again and said to them, See, I let him come out to you to make it clear to you that I see no wrong in him.

So, he came to be the light of the world, to shine anyone. Unfortunately, the world did not accept him as being one of them. However, if you accept to receive light, then you become child of God. He has been put in grave among the wicked ones, after having been put among the bandits, whereas he never committed any violence, nor did they hear any fraud from his mouth. That is why one of the bandits crucified along with him said: For us, it is righteousness, since we receive what we deserve; but this man has done nothing wrong.

Moreover, Apostle John wrote in John 8:47 that: He who is a child of God gives ear to the words of God: your ears are not open to them because you are not from God. Indeed, the Pharisees were all against Jesus’ teaching.

And God was in Christ, reconciling the world with himself, by discharging them from their sins; he has put in us the word of reconciliation and made of us Ambassadors of Christ. And he said to us: be reconciled with God! The one who has never known sin, he made him to become sin for us, so that we become in him righteousness of God. What a grace!

So, in Hebrew 4:15 it is written:  For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our feeble flesh; but we have one who has been tested in all points as we ourselves are tested, but without sin. And moreover in chapter 7 verse 26 that:  It was right for us to have such a high priest, one who is holy and without evil, doing no wrong, having no part with sinners, and made higher than the heavens. And through Christ’s precious blood, like a lamb without default, and without mark, predestined before the foundation of the world, and demonstrated at the end time, because of us who believe in God through him, who he resurrected from the dead ones and granted him glory, so that our faith and hope remain always founded on the Almighty God.

That’s why Apostle Peter said about Jesus in 1 Peter 2: 22-24 that:  22 Who did no evil, and there was no deceit in his mouth: 23 To sharp words he gave no sharp answer; when he was undergoing pain, no angry word came from his lips; but he put himself into the hands of the judge of righteousness: 24 He took our sins on himself, giving his body to be nailed on the tree, so that we, being dead to sin, might have a new life in righteousness, and by his wounds we have been made well.

This is precisely what is reminded in 1 John 3:5: And you have knowledge that he came to take away sin: and in him there is no sin

So, now that we appear before him without sin and free from evil, we need to do the needful in order to remain as such, until the last day; and we fully have everything in him, who is chief of all dominations and authority. And it is in him that we have been circumcised of a circumcision that was not made by hand, but from Christ’s circumcision, which consists in being bare from flesh, since being buried with him through baptism, we also came back to life in him and with him, through faith in God’s might, who resurrected him from the dead ones. Let’s ensure that we live by spirit and not by flesh.

That’s why it was convenient that the Almighty Father God strengthen the one for whom and by whom all things are, and who led to glory many children, and brought high to perfection through the sufferings le Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of our salvation. For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all issued from one alone. That’s why he has not been ashamed to call them his brothers and who, after having been brought high to the perfection, has become for all those who obey, the author of an eternal salvation.

Finally, the Almighty God subdued everything to him, because he was faithful and righteous, as written in Revelation 19 verse 11 that: And the heaven was open; and I saw a white horse, and he who was seated on it was named Certain and True; and he is judging and making war in righteousness.

This righteousness demonstrated by our Saviour Jesus Christ throughout his life, should definitely be the best way to ensure our eternal salvation.

Our prayers are with all of you in efforts being made in this regard.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.

I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.

I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

To you all adoration, power, and glory, now and forever and ever. Amen!

I would be glad to revert on your queries and comments as necessary, before sharing next week on the third section pertaining to submissiveness to the will of God.

May the Almighty God bless you in abundance.

David Feze, Servant of the Almighty God.
