Beloved, I am glad to share with you today on our second theme which is the Holy Bible.

It is understood that all what we have been sharing through the thirteen posts so far, were extracted from the Law, or the Holy Bible or the Word of God.

We shall now focus on its goal and its characteristics.

We take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank all those who invested their resources in order to produce this exceptional book that has required centuries of hard work to reach its high quality we have today.

To God be the glory, for ever and ever.

A-The Holy Bible was written for a precise goal:

  1. To send a message that should be delivered to human beings

Jeremiah 1:7, 17    7 But the Lord said to me, Do not say, I am a child: for wherever I send you, you are to go, and whatever I give you orders to say, you are to say. 17 So make yourself ready, and go and say to them everything I give you orders to say: do not be overcome by fear of them, or I will send fear on you before them.

Jeremiah 12:2 They have been planted by you, they have taken root; they go on and give fruit: you are near in their mouths but far from their thoughts

Ezekiel 2:7 And you are to give them my words, if they give ear to you or if they do not: for they are uncontrolled.

Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the children of Israel: so give ear to the word of my mouth, and give them word from me of their danger.

Acts 5:20 Go, take your place in the Temple and give the people all the teaching about this Life.

Titus 2:15 On all these points give teaching and help, and make clear what is right with all authority. Let all men give you honour.

  • To authenticate the divinity of Christ

John 20:31 But these are recorded, so that you may have faith that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so that, having this faith you may have life in his name.

  • To let you know eternal life

1 John 5:13 I have put these things in writing for you who have faith in the name of the Son of God, so that you may be certain that you have eternal life.

  • To provide hope to human beings

Romans 15:4 Now those things which were put down in writing before our time were for our learning, so that through quiet waiting and through the comfort of the holy Writings we might have hope.

  • To tell human beings experiences as warning

1 Corinthians 10: 11 Now these things were done as an example; and were put down in writing for our teaching, on whom the last days have come.

VI – The holy Bible reveals great truths that Christians and believers should know:

  1. The Almighty has given us a living redeemer

Job 19:25 But I am certain that he who will take up my cause is living, and that in time to come he will take his place on the dust;

Isaiah 50:4-7 4 The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are experienced, so that I may be able to give the word a special sense for the feeble: every morning my ear is open to his teaching, like those who are experienced: 5 And I have not put myself against him, or let my heart be turned back from him. 6 I was offering my back to those who gave me blows, and my face to those who were pulling out my hair: I did not keep my face covered from marks of shame. 7 For the Lord God is my helper; I will not be put to shame: so I have made my face like a rock, and I am certain that he will give me my right.

  • The redeemer provide faith to an increasing number of persons because he is the Saviour of the world:

John 4:41-42 41 And a great number more of them came to have faith in him because of what he himself said. 42 And they said to the woman, Now we have faith, but not because of your story: we ourselves have given ear to his words, and we are certain that he is truly the Saviour of the world.

  • Love in God through Jesus Christ the Redeemer leads to our good

Romans 8:28 And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose.

  • An eternal dwelling is waiting for us in heaven

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we are conscious that if this our tent of flesh is taken down, we have a

building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in heaven.

  • By keeping faith, sufferings faced because of gospel are being sustained until the last day

2 Timothy 1:12 And for which I undergo these things: but I have no feeling of shame. For I have knowledge of him in whom I have faith, and I am certain that he is able to keep that which I have given into his care till that day.

  • By becoming children of God, we will look like him and see him

1 John 3:2 My loved ones, now we are children of God, and at present it is not clear what we are to be. We are certain that at his revelation we will be like him; for we will see him as he is.

  • He has brought us from death to life

1 John 3:14 We are conscious that we have come out of death into life because of our love for the brothers. He who has no love is still in death.

VII – It shows the pillars of spiritual discernment

  1. 1 Kings 3:9 Give your servant, then, a wise heart for judging your people, able to see what is good and what evil; for who is able to be the judge of this great people?
  2. Isaiah 7:15 Butter and honey will be his food, when he is old enough to make a decision between evil and good.

  4. 1 Corinthians 2:14 For the natural man is not able to take in the things of the Spirit of God: for they seem foolish to him, and he is not able to have knowledge of them, because such knowledge comes only through the Spirit.
  5. Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for men of full growth, even for those whose senses are trained by use to see what is good and what is evil.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.

I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.

I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

To you all adoration, power, and glory, now and forever and ever. Amen!

I would be happy to revert on your queries as necessary before sharing next week on the characteristics of the vision and spiritual knowledge.

May the Almighty God bless you in abundance.

David Feze, Servant of the Almighty God.
