Beloved, I am happy to share with you today promises that God make through the Holy Scriptures. It is worth mentioning that our attitude is determining for the fulfillment of those promises.

One important thing that we should not forget is that the Almighty God always keeps his promises, and ensures that they come true, no-matter how long it may stay.

We only need to trust him, knowing that he has means to perform his word.

A-Characteristics of divine promises

1-they always come true:

1 Kings 8:56   Praise be to the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, as he gave them his word to do; every word of all his oath, which he gave by the hand of Moses his servant, has come true.

2-they are guaranteed by the power of God:

Romans 4:21 And being certain that God was able to keep his word.

3-they are founded in Christ:

2 Corinthians 1:20 For he is the Yes to all the undertakings of God: and by him all the words of God are made certain and put into effect, to the glory of God through us.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Because God, then, will give us such rewards, dear brothers, let us make ourselves clean from all evil of flesh and spirit, and become completely holy in the fear of God.

4-they have infinite value:

2 Peter 1:4 And through this he has given us the hope of great rewards highly to be valued; so that by them we might have our part in God’s being, and be made free from the destruction which is in the world through the desires of the flesh.

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR

I now invite anyone who wants to become a new creation by walking in the truth, to pray with me as follows :

Lord Jesus, I have long walked in the lusts of the world ignoring your love for humans. I acknowledge that I have sinned against you and ask forgiveness for all my sins, because today I have decided to give you my life by taking you as my Lord and personal Savior. I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary and that you rose from the dead for me.

I am now saved and born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead me each day to eternal life you give to all who obey your Word. Reveal to me and strengthen my heart and my faith so that your light may shine in my life right now.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for accepting me in your divine family so that I too can contemplate the wonders of your kingdom.

I will now choose a nearby waterpoint to baptize myself by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

To you all adoration, power, and glory, now and forever and ever. Amen!

I would be happy to revert on your queries as necessary, before sharing next week on afflictions and reasons of failure in prayer.

May the Almighty God bless you in abundance.

David Feze, Servant of the Almighty God.
